FRUSTRATION

So I just turned 24.........ewwwwwwwwwww. I feel like one more year down the drain really would not like to be where I am career wise right now.

I always thought by 24 that I would have it all layed out and understood especiallly when it comes to art. I dont understand how something I love to do so much can be so so destructive. I think there needs to be some changes.

Anwyay so thank you all for the happy birthday wishes (you know who you are ;) and can you all believe I have been on DA for 6 years!!!!!!!!!! That is so crazy isnt it?!

So another frustration is I am trying to get some gallery shows, but it is so so damn hard!!!!!! Didnt realize that getting an appearance in a gallery was like getting a part in a movie, tooo much competition I fear. Well thanks again for hearing me rant and complain.

I can’t really classify your pictures, but I truly think that it is not a bad thing. In contrary, you have very fresh images and many people would want to buy your pictures (I want to buy one too but I’m a bankrupt person) so I think it would be wrong to change your stile while it is actually the way you see the world and can we change our life vision?

Hey there!!!!! Well thank you so so much. Acrylics are very tricky you have to wait for each layer to dry so they do not get muddy and just using layers of pure color and letting them dry ( I work the same way in oils) also never try to blend on the canvas, always makes it mudy.

I was going to comment on every picture that I liked...but it happens that I like every picture in your gallery...
I just wonder how you can do all that with acryllics...everytime I try to paint with them, they end up looking like mud...
Anyways, I love all the bright colors and subjects of your pieces...especially the ones with the acryllic and oil paints...
